Our investment team

BLS Capital was established in 2008 and is majority owned by the investment professionals. We are focused on investments in Danish and global equities. The investment professionals are required to invest all of their investable assets in portfolios managed by BLS Capital.

 

Peter Bundgaard.

CEO and Portfolio Manager.

Trained as a banker in Danske Bank 1989, where he also worked as an investment advisor. In 1995 he became portfolio manager at regional Danish bank DiBa, and subsequently became portfolio manager for Danish and Global equities in Carnegie Asset Management. He also worked as head of equities at investment company St. Frederikslund Group prior to joining SEB Asset Management in 2000 as head of Danish equities and co-responsible for European equities. Prior to co-founding BLS Capital he was head of Danish equities for Nordea Investment Management.

 

Anders Lund.

Portfolio Manager.

Anders holds a M.Sc. in business, accounting and auditing from the Aarhus Business School. He worked as an auditor with PriceWaterhouse prior to joining investment bank Gudme Raaschou in 1998, first as an analyst and then as portfolio manager for Danish and Nordic equities. Subsequently, he became senior portfolio manager at Alfred Berg/ABN Amro Asset Management, responsible for Danish and Nordic equities. In 2005, he became chief portfolio manager for Danish equities at Denmark's third largest mutual fund, BankInvest.

 

Erik Simoni, CFA.

Risk manager and analyst.

Erik holds a M.Sc. in Economics from the University of Aarhus and also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. He startes as investment advisor at SEB Asset Management in 2001, and in 2003 became portfolio manager, co-responsible for Danish and European equities. Subsequently, he became portfolio manager at Nordea Investment Management, co-responsible for Danish equities.
